Greg and his wife Shelia have served at TVR since 2001. They are originally from Farmville, North Carolina where Greg owned and operated a paint store. They have three children, Brooks, Alex, and Logan. Greg also has one daughter-in-law, Ashlynn. Greg loves the ECU Pirates, playing guitar, and cooking food that rivals Emeril.
Shelia has been at TVR since 2001. She has served as the finance director since 2008 as well as being the official camp mom. Shelia loves peanut M&Ms, spending time with her boys Brooks, Logan, and Alex and daughter-in-law Ashlynn. She enjoys wearing long-sleeved shirts in the middle of summer.
Jonathan joined the staff in February of 2013 after almost a decade as a Student Pastor at churches in Virginia and Georgia. He's been married to Amanda since 2004 and they have a daughter Abigail and and a son Benjamin. He enjoys hiking, hunting, spending time with family, and mastering the art of meditative paintball.
David Eddy has been on staff since the summer of 2010. He is from Richfield North Carolina. David worked several summers before coming on the TVR staff. David has been on staff since 2010. David enjoys spending time with his wife Aimee, NC State Football, and is always in the mood for a good cup of coffee.
Ashley has been on staff since the winter of 2007. She is from Sanford, North Carolina and grew up coming to camp on family retreats. She met her husband Mike during the summer of 2006 . They have a son, Chael and a daughter, Eden who is due to arrive March 2017. Ashley likes to run, ride her bike ridiculously long distances, and eat granola.
Mike, also known as "Peety", has been on staff since 2005. He is the oldest of 11 children in the Peterson Family. He was in charge of pancake morning at his house and continues his pancake flipping skills on weekend retreats. He met his wife Ashley during the summer of 2006. They have a son Chael, and a daughter, Eden who is due to arrive March 2017. Mike likes to ski, saddle horses and dominate anyone who is willing to play him at any board game.

Julie joined the staff in August 2014, after serving on summer staff. Julie is from Pageland, SC, and is a graduate of North Greenville University and Liberty University. She married Walker in 2015 and they are the owners of Nali. Julie enjoys reading, being outdoors, cooking, and good company. Julie is also the 1968 Pageland bird calling champion.
Worship Arts / Support Staff
Walker joined the staff at TVR in May of 2013. A graduate of North Greenville University, Walker enjoys the outdoors, playing guitar and catching up on reading. Walker married Julie in 2015 and together they are the owners of Nali. Walker placed 8th in the 1936 search for the Loch Ness Monster competition.
Bri joined our staff in September 2015. Bri is a native of Grand Rapids, MI and came to us through participating in our Missions to the Mountains opportunity with her church. Bri enjoys playing piano, exploring local trails as well as serving others. Being from Michigan, she is a Smithsonian expert on Canadian culture and hockey.
Katie is a native of Lynchburg, VA and joined our staff in September 2015. Katie enjoys outdoors, photography, and video games. She was the 1947 National Mariokart champion.
Abigail is a native of Raleigh, NC and joined our staff in August 2016. Abigail enjoys playing guitar, singing, and wearing Chaco's. She is a 12 time Olympic games watcher.
Kyler joined our staff in May 2014 after serving during the past few summers. Kyler comes to us from Cleveland, TN. Kyler enjoys horses, anything University of TN, and outdoors in general. Kyler is a twin and won the 1918 national twin competition solo.
Logan joined the staff in December 2014. Growing up as a camp kid, Logan knows the impact that staff have on people's lives. Logan enjoys playing the mandolin, video games and sleep. Logan once was a finalist for the Foghorn Leghorn look-a-like contest.
Relly joined the staff in September 2015. Relly is from Charleston, SC and is a fellow North Greenville University graduate joining Walker and Julie. Relly enjoys ultimate frisbee, playing drums, and making amazing videos. Relly is also the 1976 Goose Creek oyster shucking champion with a record 5,000 oysters in two minutes.
Duke is fed by the Petersons. Duke likes anything off the grill, and also enjoys howling at wildlife in the woods.
Nali is the newest camp dog. He is fed by Walker and Julie. Nali likes chewing on tennis balls and searching the pond for the infamous Narwhale of Ada.
