Family retreats at TVR are the perfect way to re-connect with the members of your family and other families in your church. From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, we offer a full schedule of activities, family Bible study, games, hayrides, campfires and group activities. We offer specific teaching for each age group in our daily sessions. Get to know the body of your local church in a way you didn’t know was possible.
Availability: We primarily host family retreats in the spring (March-May) and the fall (August-November). We can accommodate up to twenty-seven families, either from one large group or multiple smaller churches.
Individual Families: These spring and fall family retreats are designed primarily for church groups. If you are looking for a retreat for your individual family, you are welcome to check out the Christmas Tree Retreat (individual registration welcome) or contact our office for options.

Friday
3:00 - Check-In Begins
Snacks will be provided for each family in their room upon arrival. As your group is arriving throughout the afternoon, families are welcome to explore camp, play putt putt, disc golf, or hang out in the gym.
6:00 - Dinner
7:30 - Evening Session [Games, Worship, & Teaching]
As a part of our ministry to groups, TVR staff provides teaching and leads worship for all retreats. A nursery (birth-4yo) and separate elementary and MS/HS lessons are also provided during sessions while adults have their own teaching time.

- For toddlers and elementary, a staff member will lead the horse around the pasture.
- Full trail rides are available for adults and youth (6th grade and up).
- In the case of inclement weather, alternative horse activities will be available in the barn.
