This may be the most fun we have on a single weekend each year. Take a couple days off and refresh your soul and body at this year’s ladies retreat with crafts, coffee, horse trail rides, hiking, relaxing in rocking chairs, great food, and sound Biblical teaching. Oh yeah, and lots of laughing.
October 2-4, 2020 / $150 per person
2020 SPEAKER COMING SOON!
2019 Guest Speaker: DR. TARA DEW
Dr. Tara Dew met her husband, Dr. Jamie Dew, in high school youth
group at the age of 14. Together, they have two sets of twins, Natalie & Nathan (12) and Samuel & Samantha (9) – known in their family as the “Nats” and the “Sams.” Their family transitioned during the summer of 2019 to New Orleans, where Jamie begins his first year as President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, after many years of ministry in Wake Forest, NC. Tara graduated from Meredith College, spent four years teaching before becoming a stay-at-home mom, and earned a Doctorate in Education at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tara loves ministry, whether it be to women, children, or college students, and she is passionate about hospitality and ministering with an open home. Her primary ministry, she would say, is to her family – homeschooling, training, and discipling the Sams and the Nats. Tara is passionate about helping women find their joy and identity in Christ, through Bible study and discipleship. We are so blessed and excited to have Tara with us for her fourth TVR year’s Ladies Retreat!
