    Brady nemmers

    Brady Nemmers co-planted Keystone Community Church in Ada, Michigan, just outside of Grand Rapids in 2013, and serves as the lead teaching pastor there. Brady has a long history of serving TVR as summer camp speaker and leader of many missions trips to TVR! Brady has an undeniable gift and passion for communicating the gospel in a way that is relevant, engaging, and applicable. He is married to Sarah-Anne and together they have a fun house of four boys!

    We are so excited to have Joel Goddard returning as our speaker for the second week of summer camp! Joel is a singer/songwriter and Worship Pastor at Bethlehem Church in Winder, Georgia. Joel has been leading worship for over 25 years, and has a ministry that surrounds developing worship leaders and leading the church in authentic worship, both in song and as a way of life. In addition to leading worship, Joel is a gifted teacher. He is married to Stacey, and they have three beautiful children – Jadyn, Elijah, and Lydia.

    Jody livingston

    Jody Livingston is a youth ministry veteran of twenty years, and currently serves as a youth pastor in the Metro Atlanta area, where he has served for the last eight years.  He helps equip and encourage youth pastors through his blog and podcast The Longer Haul.  His passion is helping youth pastors create a ministry of longevity that they truly love.  He is the grateful husband of Sarah and the dad of Emma, Anna, Lizzy, and Jack.  He is  a speaker, lover of vintage VW’s, and the owner of one “mostly white” VW Beetle.

    ricky Lee

    Ricky Lee is the Youth Pastor at Grace Community Church in Angier, North Carolina. He and his wife April met at TVR and served on staff for about ten years. Ricky is one of the most relational people you will ever meet, and his humble leadership truly opens a door for him to be able to share the Word of God in a way that makes people want to listen. Ricky and April have five precious children - Hudson, Ellis, Olson, Carey, and Andie.

    Jamie dew

    Dr. Jamie Dew wears many hats at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves as the Dean of the College at Southeastern, Vice President for Undergraduate Studies and Academic Support, as well as the Associate Professor of History of Ideas and Philosophy. He is gifted at communicating the deep truths of the Bible in relatable and understandable ways for young people. Dr. Dew is married to Tara and is daddy to two sets of twins, Nathan & Natalie and Samuel & Samantha! 

  • week 7: july 23-28

    william 'duce' branch

    Duce was raised by his father in New York City, where is passion for urban ministry began. Known for his rap career as "The Ambassador," Duce has reached out to the hip-hop and urban community for over two decades. He is currently involved in leadership with Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, NC, and is pursuing a PhD through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also teaches. Duce is married to Michelle and they have four wonderful children.

  • week 8: July 30 - August 4

    shaun cross

    Shaun Cross moved to Washington, D.C., in the spring of 2014 to plant a church after several years of youth ministry. He is now Lead Pastor of Union Church, which is in its third year serving Northeast DC. Shaun has a way of genuinely and graciously challenging young people to live in light of the gospel every day of their lives. Shaun is married to Melissa, and they have three adorable children.
