Summer camp is an incredibly exciting and vital part of the ministry at TVR. There really is nothing like a week of camp. We have seen God change the lives of students for 50 years.
Though we strive to make the camp experience unforgettable and fun, our desire is to make a great impact on camper's lives. We believe that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Each summer we train our staff to invest their lives in each individual camper. We desire for each camper to be confronted with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Summer camp is our largest season at TVR. A typical week runs from Monday to Saturday morning. We offer three separate programs each week of camp:
Our Pioneer Program is for students entering the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Their trained counselors provide twenty-four hour supervised care.
Our Ranger Program is for students entering Middle School grades.
Our Mountaineer Program is for students entering High School grades.
All three of our programs (Pioneers, Rangers, & Mountaineers) run simultaneously each week. Each cabin includes 6 to 12 campers. Each camper will experience the high energy sessions in the evening and personal one-on-one counseling during the day from their counselor.
