  • week ONE :: josh hayes

    Josh is the Pastor at Greenway Baptist Church in Boone, NC. He enjoys playing disc golf, hunting, fishing, and cutting grass (yes, it's true!). He loves to spend time with his family outdoors and enjoying a good read-aloud together on rainy days. Josh and his wife Carrie have five kids (Ryan, Scott, Josie, Caleb, and Micah) and are celebrating being just a short ways from saying goodbye to car seats forever! Josh loves to teach the Word of God and see people of all ages get excited about growing in their walks with Christ. He is excited to be at TVR this summer! 

  • week Two :: nick poole

    Nick is the Director of Middle School Ministry at North Hills Church in Taylors, SC. He is married to Maribeth Poole of Dallas, Tx and the real reason most people like having the Poole’s around. Nick has a degree in Youth Ministry from Liberty University and has served in camp ministry, missions ministry and student all across the south east and in Texas. He is also the head baseball coach for the middle school team of the Greenville Hurricanes. If ever there is free moment, he enjoys jumping in a stream with a fly rod or golfing on a nice sunny day. Nick has a long-time relationship with TVR and he is excited to be at Teen Valley this summer for week 2!

  • Week five :: shane padgett

    Shane Padgett serves as the Global Next Gen Pastor at Warren Church in Augusta, Georgia. With 25 years of experience in Student Ministry, Shane is passionate about equipping the next generation to know and follow Christ. In addition to his church leadership, he has invested in local high schools through character development and leadership coaching, helping students grow both personally and practically.

    Shane has been married to his bride, Diana, for 21 years, and together they have three children: Daisy (15), Andrew (12), and Sawyer (10). When he’s not serving students and families, you’ll likely find Shane in a boat fishing, in the gym working out, or spending quality time with his family.

     

  • week Six :: William "duce" branch

    Duce was raised by his father in New York City, where his passion for urban ministry began.  Through his career as the Christian hip-hop artist, "The Ambassador," and a fervent love for the Gospel, Duce has reached out to the hip-hop and urban community for over two decades. He is currently involved in leadership with Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, NC, and is pursuing a PhD through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also serves as Assistant Professor of Preaching and Bible in the College at Southeastern. Duce has spoken at camp several times in the last few years and it has always been a blessing. Duce is married to Missie and they have five beautiful children.

  • week Seven :: brian smith

    Brian Smith is the senior pastor of Stuart Heights Baptist Church. Brian has been married to his wife Amy since 1994, and together, they have 5 children. He is a graduate from Carson-Newman, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry. Brian is a novice expert fly fisherman and amateur golfer. He is a lover of TVR and is excited to join us this summer!

  • week Eight :: josh woodcock

    Josh has been a born again follower of Christ since 2014. After Jesus found him, he became a youth pastor in Florida for 3 years, and then moved to North Carolina to get his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the pastor at Drakes Branch Baptist Church in Drakes Branch, VA, and loves his church! His passions include serving King Jesus, discipling His people, hunting, fishing, and playing any sport.
