Come enjoy the cold with your students at TVR this winter! Our winter retreats run from the end of December through the month of February. Whether you would like to ski, snow tube, or hang back at camp for endless games of dodgeball, we would love to facilitate a retreat for you.
The goal of winter retreats at TVR is for our staff to handle as many of the details of the retreat as possible so that you are free to minister to your kids. Once you have accomplished getting to camp, we hope that you are free from other responsibilities in order to have the most quality time with your students. The way we make this happen is by providing all elements of the retreat at TVR – programming, teaching, worship leading, activities, etc. And, should you choose off-campus activities such as skiing or tubing, we’ll organize those details for you as well! We always send a staff member to the slopes to facilitate the trip and provide dinner there as well. And when you get back to camp after a long day of skiing? We’ll have a good snack waiting for you before bed!
Our hope is that whether there are great skiing conditions and lots of snow or not, a retreat at TVR this winter will allow leaders and students alike to have the time set aside, free from all distractions, to grow together in their relationships with Christ.
Winter retreat pricing is $60/person/night for TVR fees; please note, this cost does not include ski or tubing prices, or any other off-campus activity (listed below).
* Snow Tubing Estimate: $38-$45/ticket (1hr 45min session)
* Lift Tickets Estimate: $62-$70/Ticket (depending on resort)
* Ski Rentals: $29
* Snowboard Rentals: $40
*Please note that group rates for resorts requires a minimum of 15 people.

*If not skiing, your group would have afternoon activities and an evening worship session during this time. If tubing, we would have activities offered around your tubing session
11:00 - Return rentals and go back to camp for a hot snack, then off to bed
